Sis, Between Us (SisBU) is a Boston-based social community for women looking to connect, meet new people, try new things, and build meaningful relationships along the way.
We believe community is more than joining a group or showing up to an event. It’s about having opportunities to gather, share experiences, discover something new, support one another, give back, and simply have a good time together.
There’s no pressure to show up for everything. Find what interests you, try something new, and make SisBU what you need it to be.
What Grounds Us
At the heart of SisBU are five things that guide how we build community:
Belonging. Gathering. Mutual Care. Preservation. Collective Advancement.
They remind us that community is about more than bringing people into the same room. It’s about creating space for connection, caring for ourselves and each other, celebrating and preserving what matters to us, and finding ways to grow and move forward together.
How We Gather
We call it The SisBU Rhythm — the different ways we bring community to life.
CONNECT
Good food, good conversation, social gatherings, and opportunities to meet and connect with new people.
EXPLORE
Food, culture, travel, workshops, outings, and opportunities to learn, discover, and try something new.
MOVE + RESET
Wellness, movement, self-care, and experiences that give us space to slow down, recharge, and take care of ourselves.
GIVE
Meaningful ways to volunteer, support others, and give back to the communities around us.
Built With You in Mind
SisBU is being built with the women in this community in mind.
As we grow, we’ll pay attention to what you enjoy, what brings people together, what you want more of, and what we can do better. We won’t get everything right the first time. We’ll listen, learn, make adjustments, and keep building from there.
At the end of the day, we want SisBU to be a community you actually want to be part of, not just another group you joined.
Connection. Growth. Community Impact.
